Gateway Hills Restaurant Update April 17-April 21, 2017 We have made a lot of progress thus far on our Restaurant Site @GatewayHills.  Check out what we have completed last week at +Gateway Hills Bar & Grill.  April 17, 2017 Uncovering ledge under the future patio.  Excavating for site lighting conduit installation. Installing duct drops into RTU curbs.  April 20, 2017 Dumpster pad prep – 6 bollards will be set in concrete along the back of the enclosure. Ledge removal underway. Hammered and trucked off site. Elevation markers are set in place for retention pond. RTU’s installed, two curbs for future use temporarily covered. Preparation of trenches for patio & retaining wall. Layout & prepping for sidewalks. Drain pipe for primary roof drain connected into catch basin. We are still looking for a restaurant operator for this 7,500 SF restaurant space for lease. Gateway Hills Restaurant Update April 10-April 14, 2017 We have made a lot of progress thus far on our Restaurant Site @GatewayHills.  Check out what we have completed this past week at +Gateway Hills Bar & Grill.  April 10th Southwestern wall: Lower horizontal v-grooves cut, and vertical v-grooves cut on center between storefronts, base coat for finish applied to foam. Southeastern wall: Vertical v-grooves cut between storefronts, base coat for finish applied to foam. Installation of ipe siding around entrance. Installation of ridgid foam insulation & laying out TPO membrane (seen above and below). April 11th Installation of ipe siding around entrance. April 12th Installation of ipe siding around entrance. Installation of ridgid foam inslullation & laying out TPO membrane (seen above and below). Rough installation main gas pipe for RTU’s Installation of glass into doors. April 13th Installation of ipe siding around entrance (seen above and below). Installation of ridgid foam inslullation & laying out TPO membrane. Installing drain crickets in center of roof in order to direct water into the center drains. Rough installation main gas pipe for RTU’s Installing finish coat of EIFS. Northwest wall: EIFS installation will be completed after canopy is framed (seen above and below). Installation of gas meter on back-wall of building – meter locked until inspections. April 14th Installation of hole plugs for ipe siding. Installation of canopy stand-off blocking. Installation of TPO membrane. Installation of TPO membrane. Installation of TPO membrane. “Flatley Challenge Helps Tech Companies to Grow in NH”

The John Flatley Company’s Annual Flatley Challenge was recently featured in the Business NH Magazine for its efforts to help startup tech companies grow in New Hampshire. The Flatley Challenge is an annual competition for startup businesses and organizations. The winners of the competition each receive $10,000 in addition to free office space for a year at Gateway Hills. The Business NH Magazine’s article “Flatley Challenge Helps Tech Companies to Grow in NH” details the winners and runners-up of the 2016 Flatley Challenge and each of their future business plans.   “I saw a need for startups in New Hampshire to be given a chance to succeed. One way to do this, from my perspective, was to provide promising companies free incubation space and a small monetary incentive” -John Flatley, quoted in Business NH Magazine.     XenoTherapeutics receives prize at the Flatley Awards Ceremony XenoTherapeutics was highlighted on their achievement in winning the Flatley Challenge in the New Biotech Category, as well as its continued growth as a startup company in the science of xenotransplantation. Gateway Hills Restaurant Update April 3-April 7, 2017 We have made a lot of progress thus far on our Restaurant Site @GatewayHills.  Check out what we have completed this week at +Gateway Hills Bar & Grill. Three secondary roof drains will daylight in the rear of the building. Pipe will be cut back and final scupper will be installed at a later date.   4” PVC connected to secondary roof drains, secured by pipe brackets, and ran to the outside of the building (Shown above and below).   Installation of ipe wood siding around front entryway of building.   Trenching, installation, and backfilling for gas service completed on southeastern side of restaurant.   Trenching, installation, and backfilling for gas service completed on northeastern side of restaurant. Valve and riser installed against building for future meter. Bollards installed to protect meter.   Applying waterproofing membrane to exterior walls.   4” PVC connected to one of three primary roof drains.   4” PVC connected to primary roof drains, secured by pipe brackets, and stubbed at slab level.   Installation of temporary construction lights (Seen above and below).   Applying waterproofing membrane to exterior walls. Restaurant Update March 27-31 A lot of work has been completed this week at our Restaurant Site +Gateway Hills Bar & Grill Here’s an update on what was completed this week: Installation of aluminum storefront frames.   Southeastern & Southwestern walls: Aluminum storefront frame installation complete.   Southwestern wall: Aluminum storefront frame installation complete.   Northwestern wall: Aluminum storefront frame installation complete.   Saw-cutting parking lot in preparation for gas pipe trenching.   Northeastern wall: Dark bronze aluminum cornice wrap installed at roof-line.   Northwestern and southwestern walls: Dark bronze aluminum cornice wrap installed at roof-line. Wiring for exterior building lights x6 locations. Wiring coiled above future location for electrical panel.   Doors frames installed at main entryway. Glass installed into frames along northwestern wall. Blocking for pipe hangers installed across truss bay along top truss chords. Pipe installed in hangers.   Installation of glass in all frames, with the exception of doors.   Installation of stand-off blocking for steel canopies.   Wires installed for future power to patio canopy.   Installation of rough electric and control wiring for RTU’s.   One of three secondary roof drains that daylight in the rear of the building. ‘A Week of Bracing’ at Restaurant Site, Gateway Hills

Gateway Hills Restaurant Update March 13 – March 17 Despite blizzard conditions this past week, we have continued to make a lot of progress on our restaurant site @ Gateway Hills. This week a lot of interior work was completed including Truss Bracing, Diagonal Bracing, and Strapping Installation. While we were ‘bracing’ the snow storm, we were also ‘bracing’ the Restaurant. Here’s an update on what was completed this week: Installation of lateral/continuous truss bracing along bottom truss chords. Northeast quadrant: continuous lateral truss bracing complete.   One continuous run of lateral bracing remains in front-half of restaurant.   Southeast quadrant: continuous lateral truss bracing complete.   Front half of building: continuous diagonal bracing installed in zigzag pattern along tops of bottom truss chords. Front half of building: Strapping installation in progress. Front half of building – strapping installation complete. ‘All in a Week’s Work’ at Restaurant Site, Gateway Hills

Gateway Hills Restaurant Update March 6 – March 10 If you have driven by Gateway Hills this week, it’s clear to see that a lot of progress has been made to our Restaurant Site. It is starting to look more like a restaurant each day! Here’s an update on what was completed this week:   North east quadrant: The roof sheathing installation is now complete.   The Southwest wall is completing its framing and sheathing of parapet above main entryway.   Here, you can see hurricane ties connecting bottom truss chords to top plates of exterior walls.   Looking at northern half of building, there has been Zip Tape installed along seams of sheathing.   Southwest wall: The parapet, sheathing, and cornice are complete!   Looking closely, you can see the fastened top and bottom chords of end-trusses to wall studs @ every stud using SDS screws.   Light poles installed in the parking lot this week.   Roadway signage is up!!
